An enormous book, less so in length and more so in gravity and significance. Benkler handles such weighty topics as liberty and justice, and their affectiveness from the social and technological Internet. The writing itself is more academic in nature, but Benkler anecdotes interesting stories or technologies when useful to the thesis.
The importance of the Internet is rarely denied these days, but Benkler has written a very valuable examination of both the impact the Internet has made on society, and the responses of culture upon the Internet.
